I started thinking about what kind of fabrics I needed for my designs. First based on my previous color research and test. I determined that the main colors I needed for my fabric were black, blue and red. I’ve been in a fabric store for a long time and I’ve picked out a lot of fabrics. I think I need to look for some dark and light fabrics. In terms of material selection, I chose some stretchy fabrics and fabrics with a mesh feel.

I started designing the lineup. I followed the teacher’s suggestion and paid great attention to the structure of the clothing during the painting process. I drew the structure of the clothing very clearly, and the lines of the drawing were more concise. I think this change is very good, and my linup has become very clear, allowing people to see what my design is.
The final lineup I drew with colored pencil, I originally planned to draw it with gouache, but colored pencil is easier for me to work with. For example, when painting the shadows of clothing structures, I think colored pencils can better express the shades of colors.
