During this phase of research, I went to Havy Kahraman’s exhibition. I think the paintings of the artists in this exhibition have a lot to do with my research.
This exhibition shows the human body being entangled with objects, and the women in the painting are bound and trapped, trying to struggle and escape. In this struggle, the posture of the human body is very beautiful. It’s like holding on to the desire to live to break free from a painful environment. The sense of freedom that comes after breaking free is where I think it’s lovely.

Next, I extracted the shapes that the human body took on as they struggled. Their shape is a bit weird, but at the same time reveals a release and an attempt to escape the hope of success, complete a Soul Dance.
